About the role: 

Location: Stavanger, Norway

Hours: Full-time

We are hiring for a Sales Coordinator as part of our Motive AS team, based in Stavanger. In this role, you will coordinate and administer sales enquiries and manage the internal Sales system, ensuring that all sales orders and enquiries are managed efficiently to be able to consistently provide the highest quality of service to our clients.

The Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for managing telephone queries, emails and other forms of communication with internal & external stakeholders, always in a professional manner, thereby contributing to the efficient and effective coordination and processing of Sales Enquiries and Order Confirmations for Motive Offshore Group.


About the team:

You will be joining our Sales Team, who based across the UK and Norway. Reporting directly to the Sales Administration Manager and working closely with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

The Sales team is central to Motive's operations, ensuring that highest standards are consistently worked towards and improved upon, to meet the demands of our clients worldwide. This role will contribute to maintaining and improving the services we provide to our clients and helping drive the success of Motive's sales efforts.

Responsibilities:

People

  • Adopting and promoting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team, coordinating enquiries as necessary.
  • Liaise and correspond with key stakeholders e.g. clients, suppliers and other Departments in a professional manner; developing and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Provide sales support to Motive Offshore personnel based overseas as required.



Planet 

  • Lead by example in setting the highest possible standards in the promotion of People Values, HSEQ procedures and best practice, ensuring compliance to the Motive Offshore Group HSEQ Policy, procedures, standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Immediately report all accidents, incidents, near misses or environmental concerns
  • Adhere to and participate in company-wide sustainability policies, procedures and initiatives as they are developed to support our Net Zero objectives.


Product

  • Assist in the completion of vendor approval documentation.
  • Attend exhibitions and sales events as required.
  • Undertake training and CPD as required.
  • Organise and coordinate the registration of new enquiries on Salesforce.
  • Coordinate opportunities logged on Salesforce within the Motive Offshore Group and fulfil a Salesforce Administrator role, including updating the system regularly.
  • Prepare proposals to the required standards for all Divisions
  • Assist with sales enquiries and sales initiatives as required
  • Monitor sales outlook mailbox and allocate/forward emails as required.
  • Process contract reviews and complete the necessary documentation
  • Provide administrative support to Sales including diary planning, briefing packs for meetings, room bookings and travel arrangements as required
  • Prepare Sales reports and other documentation for Sales meetings.
  • Assist opportunity owners in obtaining and recording on Salesforce customer service and satisfaction results.
  • Assist with Sales Coordinator tasks involving other MOG Divisions as required.
  • Monitor the group info mailbox and allocate/forward as required.


Required skills / knowledge:

  • Experience working in a Sales or Customer Service environment, ideally within the Oil & Gas & Energy sector
  • Experience of working with Salesforce is preferred but training can be provided
  • Experience providing a high standard of service to clients within a service and/or equipment driven industry
  • Ability to provide constructive advice, feedback and general communication to customers across complex requirements and time sensitive situations. 
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and suppliers
  • Proven problem solving skills with the remain focused under pressure within the roles responsibilities. 
  • Good understanding of office management principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of team
