About the role:

Location: Singapore

Hours: Fulltime

The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role involves generating leads, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet sales targets. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-driven professional with excellent communication and customer service skills. They will ensure customer satisfaction in accordance with the Motive Offshore Quality Management System.


Motive has recently landed in Singapore, and its an exciting time for us. Being here is a big part of our success and growth plans. But we're not resting there, we want to keep going! To do that, we need to keep building relationships with clients in this part of the world and we need to provide our services to the projects in the Offshore sector. And we need you to do that as our Sales Executive. You'll become a key part of our success, and by nature, become a go to person for what we do, in this region.


About the team:

You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative team, with key operations based in the APAC region. As out Motive team continues to expand, our sales team in the Eastern Hemisphere region plays an integral role in supporting the business's sales and smooth operations.


You will also be working alongside a committed and proud Motive team globally that want to play their part in the growth of the business and support each other daily to create a positive, values driven and hard-working professional environment. 


Responsibilities:

People

  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
  • Liaise with wider Sales Team regarding bespoke equipment enquiries when necessary.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction, including after sales support interaction, and build strong client relationships.
  • Support Sales Coordinators as and when necessary.
  • Work in conjunction with marketing/PR department to develop and maintain sale activities.
  • Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.
  • To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.

Planet

  • HSEQ – compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, and the company’s management system.
  • To uphold the Motive Offshore Group People Values.

Product

  • Carry out sales visits to existing clients and/or potential clients. Generate and qualify leads from the sales visit(s). Negotiate and follow up with client accordingly.
  • Deal with Rental/Sale enquiries.
  • Provide guidance and support from customers during product evaluation, selection and specification(s).
  • Assist with Motive KAM strategy as required. 
  • Carry out quality checks on the product and service delivery at the end of the project, as per the Customer Satisfaction Management Procedure.
  • Deliver Motive presentations and demonstrate the Motive service offering.
  • Develop and maintain the customer sales database as per departmental procedures. (Salesforce)
  • Attend exhibitions and sales events as required.
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development to provide market intelligence and forecast information.


Required skills / knowledge:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Previous experience in sales.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitor landscape.
  • Ability to achieve targets.
  • Good negotiator, with an innovative approach.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Energetic and confident personality.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organisation.
  • Good computer literacy.
