About the role: 

Location: Hybrid, Aberdeenshire

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

We are seeking a motivated and versatile individual, results-oriented and with broad experience across marketing responsibilities. This is a multi-faceted role, supporting our small marketing team with big ambitions. 

Supporting Motive Offshore Group’s twelve global bases and three divisions, this is an excellent opportunity to join our creative, people-focused team, and play a crucial role in a dynamic, growth-focused organisation. The Marketing Executive will support all internal and external Marketing/PR activity, ensuring communications are of a consistently high standard, always in line with Motive vision and values.

Acting as a brand ambassador for the business, this role will be key in building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, partners, media outlets and other stakeholders, working to elevate the company’s market presence and drive brand awareness.

About the team:

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Lead, the successful candidate will be able to become an integral part of the team and we want to this person demonstrating their initiative, taking ownership of projects, whilst working collaboratively to ensure strategic and operational objectives are met in the implementation of the Group marketing plan. Responsibilities:

People

• Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.

Planet

• Ensuring marketing materials (e.g., brochures, packaging, promotional items) are produced using sustainable and eco-friendly materials.
• Encouraging virtual events or hybrid formats to reduce travel emissions
• Supporting company-wide environmental campaigns

Product

Marketing/PR

• Ensuring support is delivered across all regions and divisions, responding to large volume of demands and prioritising accordingly
• Support in producing high-quality materials for our marketing toolkit including case studies, campaigns, printed materials and media.
• Contribute to the Motive website management and development - day-to-day maintenance and administration including updating web pages and feature design.
• Provide Marketing/PR support across all regions and divisions

Social Media

• Developing and implementing strategies through compelling, informative content for social media channels, contributing to planning and using analytics tools to measure and report on performance and trends.
• Produce compelling, informative content for social media channels, contributing to calendar planning and using analytics tools to measure and report on performance.

Resource Toolkit

• Support production of high-quality materials for our marketing toolkit including case studies, newsletters, campaigns, printed materials and media.

Website Management

• Contribute to the Motive website management and ongoing development - day-to-day maintenance and administration including updating web pages and feature design.

Event Management

• Assist with the organising and attendance of exhibitions and other events globally, attending in-person as required.

Market Research

• Analysing trends, client and competitor activity, and identifying opportunities to inform marketing strategies.

Community

• Support and contribute to the charitable activities of Team Motive, building on our relationships within the community

Brand Ambassador

• Protect and promote the company image, help drive employee engagement, and provide the highest standards of support to clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Staying Informed

• Keeping up-to-date with industry news to inform strategies, and proactively seeking opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge

Required skills / knowledge:

• Relevant experience in a marketing-related role
• Ability to consistently produce high quality content.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Able to work on own initiative.
• A positive, ‘willing to go the extra mile’ attitude.
• Website management (CMS) experience is preferred but not essential. 
• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign would be advantageous.
• Experience of using Salesforce if possible
• Industry experience of the Energy, Oil & Gas, or Decommissioning sector
