About the role:

Location: Boyndie, Banff, Aberdeenshire

Hours: Permanent - 40 hours per week

Due to an internal promotion within our Rentals Division, we have a requirement for a Forklift Operator/Labourer to come and join us, based in our headquarters in Boyndie, Aberdeenshire. 

The Forklift Operator/Labourer will undertake painting, general housekeeping and assisting rental team in day-to-day tasks whilst ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.


About the team:

As a part of our Rentals team, you’ll become part of a small, hardworking, and skilled team who are used to working to a high standard and specification.  You will be supported by our team of Rental Fleet Technicians, whose goal, much like your own, will be to enable a quick and safe turn-around of equipment.

As well, you will be working alongside a committed and proud Motive team in the UK and globally, who want to play their part in the growth of the business and support each other daily to create a positive, values-driven professional environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Adopt the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensure their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
  • Forklift operator for B1, B2 and B3 
  • Keep the yard and workshop clean and organised to a high standard. 
  • Carry out de-mobilisation notes on equipment returned to site from clients.
  • Wash equipment on return from clients.
  • Store equipment in dedicated areas. 
  • General housekeeping tasks.
  • Assist in the set up & test of all relevant equipment.
  • Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.
  • To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.


Required skills / knowledge:

  • B1, B2 and B3 tickets (preferred, however, not essential as training can be given).
  • Ability to organise time effectively and prioritise workload, as required. 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to understand and learn the Motive Offshore Group processes & procedures. 
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Full UK Driving licence required.
